Rustic Passion LLC ("Rustic Passion," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit or buy from our online store, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what we need to process orders, provide customer service, and operate our business.

Depending on how you use our store, we may collect:

• Account information: your name and email address when you create an account, an optional phone number if you choose to add one, and a display name.
• Order information: the products you order, quantities, prices, order number, order status, and tracking details.
• Shipping information: the delivery name and address you provide during checkout, which may be saved to your account at your request.
• Saved scents and cart: the products you save as favorites and the items you place in your shopping cart.
• Transaction information: a payment method label (such as "Link" or a card brand) and a reference to your payment. We do not store full credit or debit card numbers.
• Newsletter email: your email address, only if you voluntarily subscribe and confirm your marketing consent.

We use the information we collect to:

• Process and fulfill your orders and deliver your products.
• Manage your account and keep your saved scents, addresses, and cart.
• Provide order status updates and tracking information.
• Respond to customer service requests and answer your questions.
• Send transactional emails such as order confirmations.
• Send collection launches and offers, but only if you have separately agreed to receive marketing emails.
• Help prevent fraud and protect our store and customers.
• Improve our website and products.
• Meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We use Stripe as our payment processor. When you check out, your payment information is provided directly to Stripe and the applicable payment networks. Stripe handles your card or payment details — we do not receive or store your full card number.

If Stripe Link is available during checkout, it is a feature offered by Stripe. Your Link account and any information stored within it are controlled by Stripe and its payment partners, not by Rustic Passion. Please review Stripe's own privacy practices for details on how Link works.

When you place an order, we use your order and shipping information to prepare and ship your products. A notification with your order details is sent to our internal team so we can make and ship your order. We do not include your full payment card details in those notifications.

If you create an account, we store your name, email, optional phone, display name, saved scents, and any addresses you choose to save. You can edit or remove this information from your account, and you can request full account deletion at any time (see below).

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous, aggregated statistics about how visitors use our store — such as which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors come from. GA4 sets its own cookies and processes data under Google's privacy practices. We send only product id, name, price, and order total for aggregate commerce reporting — never your name, email, or address. If you do not accept analytics cookies, GA4 does not load.

If you accept marketing cookies, we use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show relevant products to interested shoppers. The Pixel sets cookies and may share information with Meta. We send only product content ids, names, prices, and order totals — never your name, email, or address. If you do not accept marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel does not load.

We use cookies and similar technologies in three categories. Full details are in our Cookie Policy:

• Necessary: your cart (local storage) and account session token. These work by default and are required for the store to function.
• Analytics: Google Analytics 4. Only loaded if you accept analytics cookies.
• Marketing: Meta Pixel. Only loaded if you accept marketing cookies.

You can accept, reject, or change your cookie choices at any time using the cookie notice or the "Cookie Settings" link in our footer.

Our newsletter signup asks for your email address and your separate, unchecked consent to receive marketing emails. We do not pre-tick the marketing consent box. Transactional emails — such as order confirmations and shipping updates — are sent as needed to complete your order, regardless of marketing consent. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in each email.

We share information with service providers only when reasonably necessary to operate our store. These may include:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Base44 — website hosting, database storage, and account authentication.
• Google — analytics (GA4) and delivery of transactional and collection emails (Gmail).
• Meta — ad measurement and personalization (Meta Pixel), when enabled.
• Slack — internal notifications to our team when a new order is placed, so we can prepare and ship your order.

These providers process information on our behalf to deliver their services and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described in this policy — with the service providers listed above, and when required by law or to protect our rights and customers.

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Order, payment, and related transaction records are retained as needed to meet our legal, tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations, even if your account is closed. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.

We and our service providers use reasonable measures designed to protect your information. However, no online system can guarantee absolute security, and we cannot promise that your information will never be disclosed in a manner we did not intend.

Our store is intended for general consumer shopping and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your account and associated details.
• Withdraw consent for marketing emails and optional cookies at any time.
• Ask questions about how your information is used.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time. Note that certain transaction, tax, and fraud-prevention records may be retained even after your account is closed, as required by law. You can also request account deletion from within your account profile.

You can request that we delete your Rustic Passion account, including your saved scents, saved addresses, and profile details. Order and payment records are retained as required for legal, tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes. We ship to and serve customers in the United States and Mexico. If you visit from another region, your information is still handled as described here, but note that some legal protections specific to your region may not apply. We do not claim full compliance with every jurisdiction's privacy law; we follow the transparent practices described in this policy and respond to valid requests from all visitors.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect. Material changes will be reflected by updating that date.
